Family Fun and Armpit Fudge!
Come one, come all and enjoy a weekend of games, food, outings, and especially making your very own batch of Armpit Fudge!
Arrive any time on Friday, July 20th. Remember to bring FULL WATER TANKS AND EMPTY HOLDING TANKS! This weekend will be DRY camping. Due to our very low output well, water will not be available on site. Port-a-potty will be provided! If you need electric for medical (not air conditioning), please let us know so we can park you by the building*.
We will gather for happy hour at 5 pm with Sloppy Joe sandwiches provided at 6 pm. Bring a snack or side to share! And of course your favorite beverage. Campfire to follow! Please be willing to share a ghost story, funny story, travel tale, anything! (Let’s try to keep Ed from sharing that dang badger tale!)
Saturday, July 21, breakfast provided–and not too early! Sign up sheets for outings will be provided for anyone wanting to explore the area. Some ideas: Plum Loco Animal Farm, the Maritime Museum, shopping, farmers’ market, etc… The afternoon will be games and activities (like making the infamous Armpit Fudge)! If you have kites, bring them! There is also a creek for exploring! Dinner will be a simple dinner of hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, beans, and fruit. Antsy McLain music provided, all you extroverts be prepared to do an interpretive performance to your favorite song! Campfire with awards ceremony. Ice cream!
Sunday, July 22, breakfast. Leave at your leisure! If you would like to stay and explore another day, that’s OK too!
Rally fee: $20 per adult, children free. RSVP by July 17th so I can buy the food!!
